"Come Fly with Me" is a mixed media piece by Sherri Ehrlich blending vintage figures, cosmic symbols, and bold typography into a dreamscape where past and possibility rise together.

She emerges slowly, as if grown rather than painted—her face floating above a lush chorus of blossoms, rooted in a vessel that feels both ceremonial and domestic. This mixed-media work unfolds like a whispered story: part portrait, part garden, part offering. Pastel stencils build layers of memory and movement, soft yet insistent, while acrylic pen lines assert themselves with lyrical confidence—drawing veins through leaves, tracing the boundaries between body and bloom.

I am honored to share some exciting news about the next chapter of my artistic journey. This fall, my work will be featured in the exhibition “Contemporary Visions of New Jersey Jewish Artists: Part II” at the Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County in Freehold, NJ. Curated by David Levy and Arlene Smelson, the show brings together the vibrant work of Jewish artists across New Jersey.
