From the Mountains is an intuitive abstract expressionist work inspired by the quiet majesty of the natural landscape and the emotions it awakens. Rather than depicting a literal mountain range, the painting captures the feeling of standing among towering peaks, where shifting light, sweeping clouds, and ancient stone dissolve into memory and movement.

Expressive brushstrokes flow across the canvas in rhythmic gestures, creating a visual dialogue between strength and serenity. Layers of acrylic paint reveal subtle passages of white, charcoal, olive, ochre, and deep earth tones, suggesting changing weather, rugged terrain, and the timeless energy of the wilderness. Each mark reflects a spontaneous response to nature, allowing the painting to emerge through intuition rather than representation.

From the Mountains invites viewers to bring their own experiences to the work. Its abstract language encourages contemplation, offering a sense of stillness, freedom, and discovery with every viewing. The composition evolves with changing light and perspective, revealing new forms and emotions over time.
