A Tree Remembered unfolds like a memory of nature rather than a literal landscape. A twisting, luminous tree rises through an exuberant world of flowers, color, and organic forms, while unexpected shapes emerge, disappear, and reappear within its richly layered surface.

Turquoise, emerald, crimson, yellow, and white move through the composition with an almost musical rhythm. Blossoms float among wandering lines and fantastical forms, creating a world that seems suspended somewhere between recollection and dream.

At its center, the tree becomes more than a tree. It is a vessel for memory—a symbol of roots, transformation, and the fragments of people, places, and experiences that remain with us even as time moves forward.

Part of Sherri Ehrlich’s Dreams in Flight Series, A Tree Remembered invites the viewer into a landscape where memory and imagination intertwine and the familiar is free to become something entirely new.
