Dreams in Flight Series

Ice Ice Baby was born from a dream—both literally and figuratively—of Iceland, a place I hope to experience one day.

Across two canvases, sweeping layers of icy blues, deep ocean tones, turquoise and white collide and flow. Expressive movement evokes glaciers, frozen landscapes, turbulent seas and shifting skies—an imagined Iceland rather than a depiction of a specific place.

The two panels move together as one continuous landscape, creating a sense of motion, energy and discovery. It is Iceland as I see it in my dreams: wild, mysterious, powerful and beautifully untamed.

Sometimes we paint the places we’ve been.
Sometimes we paint the places that are calling us.

Ice Ice Baby is my painted dream of getting there someday.
