Enigma is an exploration of mystery, memory, and the hidden worlds that exist between what we see and what we imagine. Richly layered passages of bronze, black, ochre, copper, and luminous gold intertwine with gestural lines and organic forms, creating a composition that seems to reveal something new with every viewing.

Faces, figures, botanical shapes, and mysterious fragments appear and disappear within the surface, inviting the viewer to discover their own narrative. Shimmering copper and gold leaf catch and reflect the surrounding light, allowing the painting to subtly transform throughout the day.

Part of Sherri Ehrlich’s Dreams in Flight series, Enigma balances spontaneity with intricate detail, suggesting dreams, memories, and half-remembered stories suspended between abstraction and recognition.

Sophisticated yet deeply expressive, Enigma brings warmth, depth, and a sense of discovery to both contemporary and traditional interiors.
